Day 1- Honolulu Waikiki and diamond Head

This is the view from Diego's new apartment in Honolulu. That skinny black building reminds me of the Prudential tower.

I did a little exploring of Honolulu. Found a great cafe with the most delicious pares and coffee.

Diego then took me to a beach near diamond Head (or Koko Head).

They call it diamond Head because when the explorers (oppressors) came they thought they could see diamonds on the side of the dormant volcano.... They were wrong just shiny rocks..

This tree has a face!

This picture was taken from Diego's old apartment living room balcony . It over looks Diamond Head and the Waikiki Zoo.

I will be climbing the peak later in the week.
